GARDEN, EARLY MORNING

Before the garden opens. The light is at the angle where everything casts a shadow twice its length. The lavender is still damp from the night.

Materials collected on two visits in early spring, before 8am. The soil is from a specific bed near the upper terrace. The bark fell in winter and was left where it landed.
